This Privacy Policy applies to all users who access or interact with the killed.info platform, whether via web browser or any other interface. This Policy does not apply to the practices of third-party services or data sources that the Platform queries on your behalf, which are governed by their own respective privacy policies and terms of service.
The Platform does not require user registration, account creation, or login. As a result, we do not collect, store, or process the following categories of information:
When you access the Platform, certain technical information may be collected automatically by the server infrastructure hosting the Platform, consistent with standard web server operation. This may include:
| Category | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Server logs | IP address, timestamp, HTTP method, URL path, response code | Security monitoring, abuse prevention, infrastructure operation |
| Browser headers | User-agent string, referrer | Compatibility, debugging |
| Session data | Temporary in-memory query context | Platform functionality during your session; not persisted |
Server logs, if retained, are maintained only for the minimum period necessary for security and operational purposes. We do not use server log data to build user profiles, serve advertising, or track behavior across sessions.
The Platform may maintain a local query history feature that stores search terms and results in your browser's local storage or in a server-side database associated with the current session. This data is used solely to provide Platform functionality (such as displaying recent scans) and is not transmitted to or shared with any third party by the Operator.
If the Platform maintains any server-side scan history, such data is stored locally on the Platform's server infrastructure and is not sold, licensed, or disclosed to third parties except as set forth in Section 8.
The Platform's core function is to submit queries to third-party APIs and data sources on your behalf and return the results. When you submit a query:
Third-party services accessed by the Platform include, without limitation: breach.vip, LeakCheck, Hunter.io, IntelBase, Shodan, ip-api.com, crt.sh, the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine), memory.lol, GitHub API, NumVerify, Twilio, BGPView, RIPE NCC, and blockchain explorer services. Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy.
The Platform does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics). We do not use pixel tracking, fingerprinting, or any other technology designed to track user behavior across sessions or across websites.
The Platform may use strictly necessary session cookies or local storage solely to maintain functionality during your visit (such as preserving your current module state). These are not used for tracking or advertising purposes.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes. This applies regardless of the form of consideration. We do not participate in data broker activities.
We may disclose information in our possession in the following limited circumstances:
We implement reasonable technical and administrative security measures designed to protect information processed in connection with the Platform from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include server-side access controls, encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS), and operational security practices.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and disclaim any warranty that the Platform is free from unauthorized access or data breach. In the event of a data security incident that affects your information, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law, including the Georgia Personal Identity Protection Act (O.C.G.A. § 10-1-910 et seq.).
To the extent the Platform processes information that constitutes "personal information" as defined under the Georgia Personal Identity Protection Act (O.C.G.A. § 10-1-910 et seq.), the Operator complies with the security and notification obligations imposed by that Act. In the event of a breach of security of data containing personal information of Georgia residents, we will provide notification to affected individuals in the time and manner required by applicable Georgia law.
The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has accessed the Platform or submitted personal information, we will take steps to remove such information and restrict that individual's access. If you have reason to believe that a minor has used the Platform in a manner inconsistent with this Policy, please contact us at the address provided below.
The Platform is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Platform, you consent to such transfer and processing.
Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with heightened data protection requirements should be aware that the Platform does not currently maintain a formal legal basis declaration under the GDPR or equivalent frameworks. If you have concerns about cross-border data transfers, you should not use the Platform.
Because the Platform does not collect or store personal information tied to individual user identities, we are generally unable to fulfill requests for individual access, correction, deletion, or portability of personal data. If you believe the Platform has processed personal data about you in a manner inconsistent with this Policy, you may contact us at the address below and we will make reasonable efforts to address your concern.
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Platform after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
